Tile set flat, tight and level.
Porcelain and ceramic floor tile for bathrooms, kitchens, entries and laundry rooms. We build the base right, keep grout lines straight, and set every tile flat to its neighbors.
What’s included
Done properly, start to finish.
Old floor out
Carpet, vinyl or old tile removed and hauled off, down to a clean subfloor.
Built for tile
Subfloor stiffened and leveled, with backer board or an uncoupling membrane where the floor calls for it.
Centered and square
We dry-lay and snap lines so cuts land evenly at walls and doorways, not as slivers.
Full coverage
The right thinset and trowel for the tile size, back-buttered so tiles stay solid and don’t crack.
Even, clean lines
Consistent joints, grout matched to your tile, and sealer where the grout needs it.
Tile to wood or LVP
Clean edges where tile meets other floors, including scribed cuts like our hexagon threshold.

Good to know
Large-format, hex or patterned
Bigger tiles and shaped tiles need a flatter base and a more careful layout. We plan the pattern before the first tile goes down so the room looks centered and every cut is intentional.
- Porcelain and ceramic floor tile
- Large-format, plank-look, hexagon and patterned layouts
- Leveling systems on large tiles to prevent lippage
- Clean transitions into wood, LVP and laminate

Can tile go over my existing floor?
Sometimes over old tile if it’s solid and flat, but usually we remove the old floor so the new tile sits on a proper base. We’ll check at the estimate.
How long before I can walk on new tile?
Usually the next day once the thinset sets. Grout needs a bit more time before heavy use, and we’ll tell you exactly when.
Do you do patterned or hexagon tile?
Yes. Hex, herringbone and offset layouts take more planning and cutting, and we price that in up front.
Will my tile crack?
Most cracked tile comes from a bouncy or uneven base. That’s why we stiffen and level the subfloor and use the right underlayment before setting.
